Set on 25+ acres on the South Coast of Big Sur, the FoRest Retreat is held at a magical milled redwood retreat cabin and large deck surrounded by ancient redwoods. Big Sur’s newest retreat space offers extensive private hiking trails, a year round creek with a waterfall, yoga deck in the woods on over 25 magnificent acres of natural splendor. Plaskett Gorge, once a gold mining claim, the historic Holly Berry Lode, still has 2 mine shafts. This ancient land was also once part of the original homesteads in Big Sur. Just minutes from some of the best surfing on the coast is Sand Dollar Beach along with the coastal trail to Jade Cove. The FoRest Retreat offers a number of accommodation options, depending on the retreat package you choose.

$1500 - Option 1: Single Bed

For those seeking indoor accommodations, reserve a single bed with shared bathroom, inside the main cabin.

$1500 - Option 2: Queen Bed

Couples can reserve a queen-sized bed in a shared room with a shared bathroom, inside the main cabin.

$1100 - Option 3: Mongolian Yurt

This beautiful, authentic Mongolian Yurt is a wonderful way to immerse yourself in the sounds of the forest while nestling into warmth and comfort. Beds are provided in the Yurt.

$1000 - Option 4: Lotus Glamping

The Lotus Belle Glamping tents are perfect for guests who want a 'camping' style experience, with a bit more luxury. The interior is spacious and comfortable, but you are still very much immersed in the forest. This option requires you bring your own bedding.

$1000 - Option 5: Camping

If you'd like to deepen your forest immersion, we also offer the option to camp. You are responsible for all of your own bedding.

In addition to the sleeping accommodations, the venue offers an outdoor shower and composting toilet for the campers.
